When will the pictures from my event be online?
Pictures from your event will be online for you to view, share and purchase
within five business days for events. Weddings take a bit longer because
of the delicate nature of the photography, although we usually try to post
the photos within four weeks. This is because of the added time spent in
post production for various effects, as well as the volume of photography..

Use your Gallery ID and Key: From the home
page, you may enter your Gallery ID and Key. This will bring you

Use the Search functionality:
You can also search for the event name or a keyword by using the search
box. This will bring up a list of events that match your search terms.

to find a particular wedding or or any other potential keywords that
may be associated with the event (venue, sponsor, etc.). If the event
is listed, just click on the event name, and enter the event password
to view the gallery. If you don't have the Gallery ID and Key, contact
the event coordinator or contact us.

I can log in but I can't see any photos, all I get are red "X"s?

- Click the "Buy Now" button to add the photo to your shopping cart.
- You may choose the size and quantities of prints you want of that particular

If you've ordered from us before and saved this information, enter your password in the box on the left to automatically fill in the information saved to your profile. Your credit card information is not saved, so you will have to enter that in again manually. Once you've filled out the information, click on "Confirm Order" to proceed.

While we are processing your credit card, do not launch another browser, or hit the stop button, as this will interfere with the authorization process. What's the difference between Glossy, Lustre and Matte?
The difference between paper finishes hinges on two values, contrast, and paper
surface. Contrast refers to the ability of a paper to record a range of tones
from the most extreme white to the richest black. Nearly all photographs will
have a full range of tones, but depending on the type of paper you use one can
either highlight the differences (with a high-contrast paper) or subdue them
(with lower-contrast) depending on your preference and purpose. The paper’s
surface is based on the level of reflectiveness and, again, is a matter of preference.
Glossy photos are printed on coated paper with a very smooth, shiny
reflective surface. Glossy finishes has a high-contrast appearance and
look slick to the touch when not under glass.
In contrast, matte finishes have a very smooth, non-glare finish. Matte
finishes have a lower-contrast when printed and are often used to enhance
the texture of a print.
Lustre paper is the premier paper most preferred by portrait and wedding
photographers and is considered more of a professional-grade paper. Lustre
is often considered the finish “between” matte and glossy,
and has a slight gloss with a subtle, often pearl-like texture. Lustre
paper has a deeper color-saturization than matte as well as a higher
contrast.

Why do my photos have white borders and what is cropping?
Your prints will have white borders when the image size is not exactly
the same as the print size. The standard 35mm aspect ratio is 2:3 which
is exactly the same as that of a 4"x6" print. 5"x7", 8"x10" and
other sizes are not the same aspect ratio and are by default printed
with white borders to preserve the full image. You can choose to use
the crop checkbox in your shopping cart to crop your photos and
not have a white border (see
a visual explanation here). Cropping will fit your photo to the
print size you select. It will expand the photo slightly to fill up
the entire print, then cut off the edges of the image. If you turn this
function off you will not lose any of the image, but the print will
have white borders.

Will my prints look exactly like the image that I see
on the screen?
The image on your computer screen is a low-resolution image and is for display
purposes only. The prints you'll receive in the mail will be professional
quality Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper prints. In addition, depending on what product you order,
some of the images you see on the screen may be slightly cropped. Please note,
film developed at your local processor is automatically cropped for you -
you just don't know about it.

What is the quality of Orange Photography prints?
Our fulfillment provider EZPrints, uses the highest end commercial printers and Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper to produce the highest quality prints you can find on the internet. Other professional photographers have relied on EZPrints to produce their own works of art and we expect that you will be very happy with the quality of the prints. (Fujicolor Crystal Archive Paper is the highest-quality fine-art photographic paper available today, with the longest archival lifetime and is often chosen for its museum-quality characteristics.) Otherwise, we will happily refund your hard earned money!
The thumbnails are small on your computer screen because we use a compressed
version of the original image that loads quickly onto your screen. Rest assured,
you'll receive a traditional photograph, developed on real photographic paper with a glossy
or matte finish.

How do I know that the images used to make prints and
products are of the highest quality?
All of our products are printed from the high-resolution masters taken from
the photographer's camera. For more information on the quality of our printing
process, please see the question immediately above.

What kind of camera equipment do you use and why
is it better than the digital camera I have?
All events we covered are taken with professional grade lenses and digital
cameras. With a resolution of at least 2160x1440 pixels, 12-bit color
capture, the images the camera captures can produce prints surpassing
35mm quality at 8x10 and even excellent prints at 11x14 and beyond.
We will be happy to show you the quality of the larger prints, just
contact us for a demonstration.
