Jack Huynh Beyond the 'decisive moment' and last dance is the beginning of a life long journey by two souls. I am honored and committed to capturing the artistic and authentic moments between those souls and everyone involved in celebrating their union. My style reflects my personality and philosophy, that through quiet observation, the beauty of the each moment will naturally reveal itself. ›› Moments ›› Stories ›› Other Work
Andy Berry "Photographing people in their daily lives, and especially capturing images of people during their most momentous occasions has always been my passion. I live by the philosophy that every person must play their assigned role in the world. My role - my responsibility - is that of 'historian.' Weddings can be the most important, the most beautiful, the most celebrated day in peoples' lives, making for the most important subject matter to any serious photographer. A lifetime can be captured in a single photograph! This is my ultimate goal as a professional, as an artist, as a historian. The wedding galleries listed below represent my attempt at capturing these momentous occasions, peoples' 'lifetimes.' My entire portfolio represents my passion for capturing images of the rest of the world in its daily life." ›› Moments ›› Stories
Traci Griffin My philosophy is simple: I love what I am doing. When photographing a wedding, I respond intuitively to the rhythm and the mood of the day. Imagination, good reflexes, and a sense of humor: these are the hallmarks of my approach. I bring the same elements to my wedding photography as I do my fine art and editorial work. I honestly feel the less my subject is aware of me, the better my pictures will be. ›› Moments ›› Recent Stories
Gene X Hwang The heightened emotions of a wedding inspire me and make every wedding special. From the contemplative moments and inward thoughts to the ebullient joy and tears of happiness. I enjoy capturing those times when the emotions bubble to the surface and the festive, fluid and sometimes challenging dynamic of the day itself. ›› Moments ›› Stories
Sara Press My approach to wedding photography could be described as "relaxed portraiture." I like to get a range of many types of shots throughout each phase of the day, including natural portraits, documentary-style coverage, shots taken with an artistic eye, and of course a few classic shots that I know the older generations will like. My favorite part of the day, though, is the so-called "formal" portraits -- which always end up spontaneous-looking. It's my goal to have everyone looking fluid and relaxed, never stiff. The best shots are always the ones taken just before and after people "say 'cheese'" -- the key players horsing around together, just being themselves and enjoying the day. I feel so lucky that, as a photographer, I get to be a part of such momentous occasions in peoples' lives. Even after 10 years of shooting weddings, I still often cry during the vows -- though I do manage to keep a steady hand! And most importantly, my clients always remark that they can feel the strong emotions of the day so clearly in their photos. ›› Moments
