A loving glance…a soft-spoken whisper…a stolen kiss…these subtle yet magical moments are the focus of Vasna Wilson’s work throughout your wedding day. Her training in unobtrusive photojournalism and art history background along with travels to thirty countries throughout Asia, South America, Africa, Europe and the Middle East have all been combined to provide both a technical and worldly artistic perspective.
Vasna began creating timeless images of weddings, families, and children in 2000. As to why Vasna has chosen to photograph these subjects? She answers … "I’ve traveled all over the world photographing some of the most beautiful sights known to man. I have covered important political events and influential political leaders. I have documented heart-warming humanitarian projects that depict the best human nature has to offer, however, nothing I’ve ever photographed has filled my heart more than the union of a couple on their wedding day. Nothing has enlightened my soul more than the look of hopeful innocence on a child’s face and the special moments shared by a family. It is through my travels and experience I have come to realize that in the end, the most beautiful things in life are love, hope and family. This is why weddings, children, and families are my favorite subjects…they convey all that matters."
